What you will need
- Beeswax or soy wax flakes (or a combination of both)

- A silicone mould with a hole for hanging (tag-shaped moulds work beautifully)
- A double boiler or a heatproof bowl and saucepan
- Ribbon or string for hanging
A good starting ratio is 150g of beeswax and 150g of soy wax, which will make around four tablets.
Step-by-step
Melt the wax. Set up a double boiler by placing a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Add your wax and let it melt slowly. Be patient. Beeswax takes a little longer to melt than soy wax, but the result is worth it.
Add the essential oil. Once the wax is fully melted, remove it from the heat. Stir in your lavender essential oil. A good guideline is about 3% essential oil by weight. For 300g of wax, that is about 9g or roughly 180 drops. This may sound like a lot, but wax needs a higher concentration of oil to hold the scent effectively.
Pour into the mould. Carefully pour the melted wax into your silicone mould. Tag-shaped moulds with a hole at the top are ideal because they can be hung directly on a hanger.
Add the decoration. While the wax is still soft, press a few dried lavender buds into the surface. They will sink slightly into the wax, creating a beautiful, botanical finish. This is where your creative touch shines.
Let it set. Leave the wax to cool and harden completely. This usually takes about an hour.
Remove from the mould. Gently pop the wax tablet out of the mould. If you have used a mould with a hole, thread a ribbon or piece of string through it.
Hang and enjoy. Hang your lavender wax wardrobe tablet on a hanger in your wardrobe, lay it in a drawer, or place it on a shelf. The scent will release slowly, filling the space with calm.
